I fully understand where you are coming from. However, I am a big fan of motorcycles and have logged over 120,000 miles on them. <br /><br />Once, I got pulled over and the bike was not registered (bad JD!) - they impounded it and I had to ride back home on the back of my friend&#39;s bike (something like 80 miles of twisty curvy roads). This was a guy who I occasionally would ride next to and purposely bump into and we would just laugh - full and complete confidence in his riding ability. <br /><br />I WAS TERRIFIED for the same reason you state - I felt totally out of control.
