It will keep your cardio-vascular system in shape and not hurt your knees. Start ramping back up slowly (your getting all the way out to 10 miles before you have problem ... a lot of folks would consider that a long run). You'll get there. Your body is just yelling at you to take it a little easier.Philhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04350841837453498786noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3856118913828941953.post-79514216619419903222007-08-03T20:49:00.000-04:002007-08-03T20:49:00.000-04:00DID YOU ANSWER ME YET ON Working your QUADS ie Tri...DID YOU ANSWER ME YET ON Working your QUADS ie Trigger points???? and did you get that TIGER TAIL Roller Yet???? to roll ur legs a few times a day!!

HUh????? When I went back to training for triathlons, along with some strength training, the knee pain went away and my running got faster/better even though I am only running three day/week now. Just something to consider. I only mention it because it worked out so well for me.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02378547566593756176noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3856118913828941953.post-20923266646358029122007-08-03T17:46:00.000-04:002007-08-03T17:46:00.000-04:00:(!i tend to try to run through things (mind over ...:(!

i tend to try to run through things (mind over matter, right?), but i'm also a knucklehead so it doesn't always work the way i planned. it's interesting that it happened around the same mileage. i think the good thing is that it's not hurting you for the first ten miles - so maybe it's just fatigue related. beer helps.

here's to you getting better fast.Scott McMurtreyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05879663957608177567noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3856118913828941953.post-36551125580637246972007-08-03T17:34:00.000-04:002007-08-03T17:34:00.000-04:00I hope it feels better soon! Instead of a massage therapist, I wonder if you shouldn't break down and go to a physical therapist/sports medicine pro. It seems to me that there may be something else happening that's exciting this injury, like perhaps a weakness in another area causing compensation.

I think that's also what is causing Mendy's issues, and I know that my back allignment gives me some leg pain and compensation injury sometimes. It really sucks when it impedes training, though. Especially when you are mentally in the zone.Davidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02232949586286921191noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3856118913828941953.post-40399727032873936832007-08-03T15:18:00.001-04:002007-08-03T15:18:00.001-04:00BTW, are you running at FU?BTW, are you running at FU?Mendyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00968363500551483010noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3856118913828941953.post-31778541221094000392007-08-03T15:18:00.000-04:002007-08-03T15:18:00.000-04:00You are such a smart runner and know what you shou...You are such a smart runner and know what you should do.
