Officially 35

Today is my birthday. Let me save you the report on the new aches and pains over this past year and jump right to the good stuff. I and leaving work early to hit the trails. YES!!

Not only and I meeting two of the greatest girls but tomorrow I actually get to wake up and sit and have coffee at home. Don’t get me wrong, I love running but I must admit every now and then it is great just to be at home with my husband on a Saturday morning.

So at approximately 3:30pm my feet will hit the dirt and my ears will hear nothing but the sound of waterfalls and birds singing. That is to say between all of our girl talk. Amazing how we seem to be able to solve all the worlds’ problems during 4 hours of running. My husband has never understood why anyone would want to carry on a conversation while running but we seem to love it. Complete the run with an ice cold Mountain Dew and world will once again be perfect.

This weekend will be full of food and spirits with friends and family to complete my birthday weekend. Thank you Scott!! You always make my birthday special in more ways than you know.

Happy trails… happy running… happy whatever you love doing.

Robin

Happy birhday, Ultra Robin! Sounds like you have a perfect plan there, and will have a great weekend.

Somewhere in the distance...I hear the whirring sound...MARGARITAS!

Happy birthday! My 35th birthday is in two weeks. Welcome to a new age group.

Welcome to the blog world, too. Thanks for dropping by my blog.

Good luck on the ultra. I've wanted to do one, but I'm busy with triathlons, I don't know when I will do one. Have fun with it. Running trails is the best running there is!

Happy Birthday Robin! Sounds like you had a great start at 35.

There is nothing like doing a long run with friends. Talking ensures that you are staying in your aerobic zone and the good company makes the miles fly by.

Enjoy your party this weekend.
