Shout Out to Judge Judy

If it makes any of you feel better, yesterday when I stepped onto the treadmill I felt nauseous thinking of running on it again. I am running out of mind games to play on it. I managed my 8 on Wednesday and another 8 yesterday. My saving grace is that Judge Judy is on for an entire hour and I just get a kick out of how she crushes the idiots that come before her bench. It is too funny! I also completed two days of total body resistance weight training. Strong upper, lower, and core is finally being addressed again.

Tomorrow all four of us girls will head to some new trails for our 22 miles. This will be my first outdoor run since the fainting spell the other week. This will also be a true test of hills since I have been rolling my leg following the knee pain that I had 5 weeks ago. Man I sound like a mess but I really feel good. Pumping in the electrolytes and extra water has had a noticeable difference.

Wish me luck!

Robin

Hope you have a great run this weekend. I know you are anxious to get back out there in the trails, with no pain. I'll be thinking of you and pray it goes well for you! I know it will!!

It doesn't take long to get tired of the ole' treadmill, probably for anyone.

Have fun with your 22-miler...and be sure to take lots to drink. ;-)

Have you tried using electolite capsules? I started using the ones put out by Hammer Nutrition a year or so ago and it makes all the difference in the world for me after races and hard/long training sessions. I used to get the worst headaches and nausia after races and long workouts and that never happens anymore now that I take these.

You know, if you run with an umbrella, you might stay cooler. You'd look like a total dork, and we would laugh, but that's beside the point. ha ha ha

Have an awesome run, and enjoy those cool, frosty, delicious Mountain Dews afterward!
