I do not remember much of what the doctor said other than that I COULD RUN!!! I can run more than 10 miles at a time. I can run my 18 miler this weekend all at once. I can run in my first race of the year in two weeks. I CAN RUN!!
I still need to have xrays of my small intestines but he felt like everything would be fine there as well. I am lucky to have a doctor who has a passion for the sport. Lucky to have my husband there to remember everything that I couldn't. Soft foods for the rest of the day and then real food tomorrow. I am thinking a nice stack of pancakes in the morning will be heavenly.
Will post following my 18 miler on Sunday. I am SO excited and more than thrilled that on race day I am in it to finish.
