Busy week… but good.
Lots of running, biking, and yes swimming!! I have officially registered for the Iron Girl Triathlon in Atlanta, GA on June 29th. It has been two years since my one and only Tri so I have work to do in the pool. Managed to get two swim sessions in this week which was not bad considering how long it has been since I last hit the water. Next week I will dust off the old drills and keep the swim session more goal focused.
I am also officially registered for Mount Masochist Trail 50++ mile on November 1st. Following the Tri I will turn my focus to training for that event. No plans on giving up the cycling at all. In fact, I will write it into my training for the MMTR. This year that mountain is MINE!!!
Everything is moving right along. Excited to be running 15 miles for the past two weeks. Add in an average of 70 miles of road cycling and I am a happy girl. Feels fantastic!!!
Group ride was solid this week. I rode the 21 mile course (17.1 mph) and then ran 3 miles following the ride. That seems to be becoming a norm and something we will likely continue doing each week. Still have my 8 mile run this week and want to get a solid 30 to 40 mile ride in on Sunday.
Life is GOOD :)

Awesome! So is Scott going to be able to hang out with Wes and I, spectating at the race? We need a cooler man, a snacks man, and a folding chairs man.
Do I smell a triathlete in the making?

Sounds like you are doing quite well! you will definitely get that mountain this year. We are headed to back to Chattanooga at the end of May - going to give RockCreek another chance for putting on a good race. Hopefully they won't run out of water this time!
