Connections

It dawned on me today, while looking through old photos, how much friends and running are connected to each other in my life. I have had some of the greatest times sharing the road and trails with these friends. Priceless times for sure.

So with that I thought I would pick some random pictures to share….

Marine Mud Run 2006

Nashville Marathon 2006

Earth Day Half Marathon 2006 (Scott's first half)

DuPont Trail Marathon 2007

Team Dirty Feet 2008

Disney Marathon 2007

Black Mountain Marathon 2007

Iron Girl 2008
I can hardly wait to see what this next year brings. New and old friends to train and share the road with. Without it none of this would be as sweet.

It is interesting how running/sport brings community. I guess it's the struggle and knowing that everyone else is dealing with the same discomfort. I will say this that your mud run pic is entirely too clean. Sup wit dat?

Great pics! It's been a long road, indeed. But it's nowhere near done.

Nice way to wrap up your year of running. I just might need to do a little scrapbook of my own after seeing this.

Your photos seem a tribute to those that allow us to do what we do. As we all learn you can't do some of these crazy accomplishments without help from others. If we could what fun would it be.

Thank you for sharing your life with us and for your comments throughout the year.

Have a wonderful Holday Season!

Definetly an endurance journey is more sweeter when you share it with your friends and family.

Here is 2009 and to more new adventures.

Interesting how we all differ in our running motivation. For some it's friendships for others solitude. Running is just for everyone!
