Pull Ups

What will $29.95 buy you these days..... tons of fun and a nice family challenge of pull ups.  Only ones that count begin from a dead hang.  I can only do one but since I love a good challenge I am hoping that number will increase fast enough to make these boys cry...lol!!

Greg ... show off... he started at 5.

Kenny (aka our Marine) way more than 10... but who was counting :)

Scott also made it look easy... thinking he had me on several... again who's counting?

Here is my one.. but look at the perfect form :)

And who could leave our Layla out?... for the record she did ZERO but she is just so pretty :)

So the money was well worth it and I imagine that we will be beast by summer... well the boys will at least.

One one last note:  Scott FINALLY shaved off his "man beard" tonight.  Since I have refused to kiss him he became so weak that he had to do it.  Well that is the story I am sticking to anyway.

On the training front:
Plenty of riding and running this week.  Pleased with my December totals and ready for 2009.

Happy New Year to all!!

Robin

I have looked at those things but figure I could stand to lose a few pounds before I use one.

I am officially in for B2B full 2009

I totally suck at pull ups including Kipping Pullups (which are more intense).

I also suck at trying to keep my face clean shaved.
What's with you women?
You could have taken the beard off with Duck Tape right?

I actually shaved my foot so the Duck Tape doesn't hurt.

I love the doggy pull-ups. I'm up to 5 and that isn't braggy just letting you know that you will get there. I want to see those guns when your getting placed at B2B!

I don;t want to be ANYWHERE near on eof those things! Although I will say that I have always been in awe of the guys at the SC that can hang and pull 20+ times.

Very cool! You guys are having WAY too much fun with a pull-up bar :-)

I need to get me one of those. They use them in P90X, but I've been using the total gym. I figure 25 pull ups with 50% body weight is better than 5 with full body weight. LOL... Like I could do five. But still, I need to graduate to the real thing!

Happy New Year!!

LOL at the beard pics. My husband is in a current scruff phase and I do not prefer it.

Is that the Iron Gym thing I've seen on the infomercial? I thought about getting one. And some Shamwows. I need to watch less TV.

One pull up ain't bad. My brother has the same contraption and one was all I could muster when I visited him over Christmas.

You'll no doubt be doing 20 at a time by the end of the year.

Haha, we have one of those in a doorway that seldom gets used except for stretching (hanging). In 2009 I hope to change that :-)
