A Positive Weekend

No words can describe how great of a weekend Scott and I had!!  We dis-connected from needed stress and removed ourselves from it very last minute on Friday afternoon as we fled town with less than 30 minutes notice.  Let me just say that we have not laughed so much and enjoyed each others company in such a stress-free way in several months.  We made ourselves a priority this weekend and I for one LOVED every minute of it.

Sunday brought a wonderful opportunity to give back and we wanted to be a part of it.  I only mention this to say that so many are hurting and stressed by the economy far more than we are and today we witness it first hand.  Our Spinners Club put lights on bikes for those that were homeless on both Saturday and Sunday.  Each person that arrived were so appreciative for this little act of giving that it was more of a blessing to me than it was for them.

What a great way to start a new week.  Positive thoughts are my focus!  I feel rich with blessings for my health, my family, and most importantly my husband.

Things are getting worst, but it will also bring thought and time to reflect on good things; as you say. Maybe all of this has a purpose!?!

So nice you were able to get away and enjoy yourselves. Some of the best vacations/trips are the unplanned ones.
