Strange Happenings

It is Thursday and with that brings another group ride..... YES!!

But first..... I would like to point out some Strange Happenings this week:
  • Every week I have a guy who sits at his desk and clips his nail. Come on... really? Do this at home!! clip...clip...clip...
  • At a red light today I looked over and noticed the driver next to me was crying. It was a guy. I wondered if he lost his job, family, or just having a crummy day in general.
  • Ran out of coffee the other morning and did what I promised I would no longer do. Starbucks. Man walked in while I was adding my sugar and cream and within a minute I realized he was drunk. It was 6:45 AM in the morning people!

I know there is more but that will be for another post. Now I need to get me head in the game for our ride tonight. The course is pretty flat so I am going to focus on staying in my "big ring" and hammer the best that i can. Maybe I can talk another rider into joining me for some extra miles. Scott is opting to ride with a new friend. He used me and threw me to the side once he made the ride date today!! They would have just held me back any way...LOL!!

at first I thought you were saying the guy who was pouring your cream and sugar in your coffee was drunk! *laugh* I use to work at starbucks and I really wouldn't put it past any of those employee's. *laugh*

guy at starbucks was probably still out for the night.

and once I was on the bus and the person beside me started clipping her toenails, letting them just fall to the ground. I told her to stop. she didn't

Man crying is me completely going co-dependent and probably would involve me putting my phone # on a sheet of paper saying, "call me if you need to talk."

Good Luck with the ride!

Actually, that drunk driver bothers me more than the nail clipper. I hope he wasn't driving far like that.

Have fun on your ride. My hubby is riding with a new friend today too (but I'm out of town so it's OK :-)
