Note to SELF: Do not write a race report when you are dead-dog-tired.
What a difference having a rest day makes for your attitude. Since my next race is in 2 weeks I have time to get my mind wrapped around this racing stuff a bit better.
So moving forward from that….
Scott’s first day at his new job went great. My son and I made sure to rush home and do all of the chores, set the table, and have a yummy relaxing dinner together. We asked Scott all about his day and when dinner was over we cleaned up the dishes and then relaxed some more. What a perfect evening. Before anyone starts getting that warm fuzzy feeling tonight will be back to the crazy nights we normally have. Go..Go…Go…Move..Move…Move…until be crash in bed for the night. LOL!

Aw, that's great that you were able to arrange a nice quiet evening for Scott's first day back at work. Glad to hear it went well!
Sounds like a great evening after his first day of work!
Atta girl :-)
Happy to hear Scott had a good first day at work.
Nice! I'm sure everyone had a great evening.
Thanks for the update!! Hugs!
Way to put a good effort in on a tough strategic race. Sometimes you just get caught out of place and BAM, there goes the lead riders trying to gap you.
And way to be nice to the hubby on his first day. It is always nice to come home to peace and tranquility...
Congrats to your husband!
Really enjoy reading your blog - congrats on a good race and good luck in two weeks.
it's always good to sleep on a big event before writing about it - something i know just too well. i am amazed that your group is already racing considering it's a new team for you.
Yay! I know you guys are thrilled to all be so bizzy :-)
Great job, congrats again!
