It Is All How You Look At It......

I love how the week always brings a feeling or renewal to me somehow. By the time our long runs happens on Saturday I completely look forward to the rest day that I take advantage of on Sundays. When Monday’s roll around I feel excited, energetic, ready to go!

Last night my plan called for 6 miles of hills, weights, and yoga. Normally close to a 3 hour workout. Arrived to the sports club and quickly realized that it was packed! The elliptical would be my only option for hills. Not having my night running gear for outdoors I would have to take advantage of this option and make the best of it. So for 5.6 miles at a level 8 I tackled one hill after the next. My heart rate averaged 157 bpm and I was totally soaked with sweat. What a workout. Had no time for weights so I will have to move that around this week. Yoga just gets better and better and last night my balance was fantastic. Even I was surprised by this. My core was completely engaged and I enjoyed every minute of the class.

Tonight will be a 90 minute cycle and hopefully a round of upper weights before class begins. Will have to see. Need to go grocery shopping as well. Need more time in the day!

On a side note…. I had a wonderful date with my SISTER this past weekend. We had sushi and a glass of wine. It was divine!!

Cheers,
Robin

Yoga AFTER that cardio?? Awesome. I'm usually a little shaky to do core work after. Great job!

What a great sis :-) You, my dear, are a glutton for pain! If you have any chocolate left over, send them to me. I'd be doing you a favor :-)

I love the pics! You never cease to amaze me with how hardcore you are! When we pick which race we are doing by David and Mendy we will have to meet up for sure!

My gosh you are in shape!

50k trail run? I'm lucky to get out alive at 5k.

I just discovered Pilates. Yoga doesn't fit in the schedule yet. Maybe in the spring.

Great job on the workouts.

That's a great heart rate for doing hill intervals. Some hard core workouts there.

And great pics of you and your sister. At first I thought you were playing around with photoshop, and put multiple pics of yourself together.

Ready for the Winter Blast 2008 tomorrow?

Sometimes having a "date" w/ a sister is better than having a romantic date. At least you don't have to worry about shaving your legs!..lol..

You are a workout maniac!

I LOVE sister time. Mine is 9 months prego, so we haven't been able to have a fun sister date in a while.
