Team Dirty Feet....eats!!
Team Dirty Feet enjoyed some miles on the trails together on Saturday. Best part was the food that followed and the opportunity to meet spouses and children. The weather was perfect and it was one of the best highlights to the weekend.
Scott the Grill Master :)
This group has been great. For the most part none of us are training for the same events, same distance, or even all die hard trails runners. What we do share is the love of the trails and all it brings with it. Nothing like a cold stream to cool off along the trails. Hard to get that on the roads.
This weeks begins my next steps in the Build Phase of my training. A nice 49 miles will do it for the week. It is going to get nasty from here but with all this just brings me closer to my goal.

Looks like a good time! You are going to have busy weey of training ahead of yourself!
"Hot Dogs and Runs" is certainly an interesting title. Looks like fun.
I'm sure Scott had LOTS of practice while you were out running 20 miles on the trail and he was "supposedly" doing five miles on the road ;-) Just sayin...
Happy Weekend!!!
Fun times shared with friends are special. Great pics. Good luck with your training.
Sounds like a nice time was had by all. Good luck with the "Buliding Phase." You are right, you are getting closer to your goal.
Looks like a fun group!
Keep pushing through the hard training - can't wait to hear how the big race goes :)
Sounds like a great time. I am sure you will be able to handle all those long nasty runs
Sounds like fun!!

Great catching up with you for a bit today Robin, have a great training run this weekend...Keep up the GOOD Work, your so on track (~ehem') trail!
Hey, what race are you training for? I gather from the length of the long runs, it's an ultra of some sort. I've always heard good things about them, particularly the fact that they're off-road, but decided to get into tris instead. Maybe someday though!
