Cold Running

For the most part I have not missed the gym membership that I felt would be hard to let go of when Scott found his job eliminated back at the end of November.  We have worked out as a family, Scott and I have ran together, there have been group trail runs, group cycle rides, and plenty of enjoyable solo workouts.  Today I am COLD and today would be a good day for an indoor spin class...but that is not going to happen.
To make matters worse I just stood in front of a very warm fire that I now know is a death trap.  Makes me long for my pj's and it is not even 4:30pm.  So I am heading up stairs to change into my workout clothes.  I will leave the warmth of my home and  and get my rear in gear.

Hot Chocolate and a warm fire will be waiting for me in a matter of an hour.

That fire looks so inviting! Good job getting out there - you're right, it will still be waiting for you when you're done. :)

Yea, but what I want to know is if Scott is working on his Domestic Goddess Badge? We could trade household tips :-)

I know that your internal fire burns hotter than the external one right!

Get on out there and burn it up!

Hope the run went well!!

We have a gas fireplace, and I always flip it on before I go for a cold run so it's nice and toasty when I get back!!
