Passing It On... Part Two

As promised, here is the next item I would like to Pass On....

Again, same rules apply:
1.  Item is FREE
2.  If you would like the item you can leave a comment on this post or send me an email
3.  If more than one person shows interest in the item I will draw names and contact the person on their blog or email them by Tuesday,12noon.
4.  Mail the item to the recipient.

All I ask is that you not ask for an item that you can not use.  So are you ready to clean up your diet??  It is a very good book and easy to understand.

On the training front:
I managed all of my workouts except for my Friday 30 minute run.  I have no reason other than I missed it.  I am very pleased with the second week of heart rate training.  I do tend to stay in the higher end of my zone 2 but the out come at the end of the workout it the same.  Even, constant output.  This type of training really brings awareness to how my body feels while riding and running.

Even with the frigid temps I was able to get Scott out on the road with me today.  Let me just say that his "jewels" needed some long thawing out on the shower.  I did not laugh....much.

I have heard good things about this book, but never got around to checking it out. I would love the book! I am trying my best to eat healthy and clean, but it would help to have some sort of guidelines.

Sounds great on the training front poor Scott, I have pretty much avoided riding outside in the cold, though I know I need to get out there

Sooooo Robin did you actually follow the diet? HAHAHA I'm kidding! It's not really a "diet" right? More like a change of lifestyle plan?

Sounds like you are learning a lot about your body, which to me would be the most valuable thing.

I'll pass on the book, but thanks!

Too bad I decided not to get the Garmin with the heart rate monitor. At that time I was turned off by the function, but now; almost a year later I think it would be very beneficial; also because I have learnt to listen to my heart rate.

Train well!

Scott is "The Man"!

I'm not worthy but am glad he is going to be able to get out there and train with us. We need more testosterone! ;-)

I'll be interested in finding out if my coach wants me to do HR training as well next month. I've never done much in the past and so it'd be interesting. Keep up the good work!
