SNOW in March... not in SC

This weekends forecast cancelled all hope of outdoor cycling and today the chance of my outdoor long run vanished as the rain, then sleet, then SNOW filled the day.

So what is a girl to do?  I did a killer 90 minute ride on my trainer.  After getting a mix a music together I wrote out a workout to match the music.  Took me a little bit of time but it worked and kicked my butt. Amazing how fast the time flew by since I was so focused on the time intervals.

With no treadmill option I will just have to wait until i get home from work on Monday to run. If it were just snow I would run but the nasty wind gust have me happy to be indoors and warm.

Music should be coming your way soon. I'm sorry, I've been swamped. Send that snow up here would ya?

90 minutes on the trainer is a great alternative to outdoor cycling!

Man, this snow just took at a tree in my front yard. Literally about a foot front the front door! :-o

Ok, the "fun" snow is officially over!

Can I borrow your tunes and workout for tomorrow?

Just stumbled across your blog. I'm sorry the weather isn't cooperating with you. I feel your pain. I moved from FL to KY 4 years ago, and these winters are killing me. I can't wait to get outside and exercise again.

Your determiniation is inspiring!

Blessings,
Sandy

The weather this weekend was awful. It rained both Sat and Sunday with no breaks.

That looks like a lot of snow for you guys!

I think that's why coach used to give me intervals on the trainer. Not only does it help, it breaks up the time nicely. Well done!!!

I just got back from AZ and can't believe we have another nasty cold front here in the southeast! Good job getting your ride done indoors. Intervals sure do make time go by faster.

What a good idea to match the workout and the music.

Sorry about the snow. We have it here, too!

Great job with the workout. It's amazing how much more quickly a workout goes by when it is focused. I hope the weather improves for you soon.

The snow is crazy!! Great pictures in your latest post. Definitely a smart idea to wait to run.

I love the idea of tailoring a workout to a great play list! I will have to try that. :)
