I must confess.. it has been 6 years since I last purchased a swim suit. Although I did replace my racer back Nike swim suit last year I do not believe that counts. We are less than 3 weeks from vacation and I thought I would try on one of the suits only to realize that the elastic had dried out and basically was officially done. SO… as much as I HATE trying on swim suits I have no choice. This blows!On another subject.... I would say that I eat a rather healthy diet. Love me some fresh veggies!!! Fried items never touch my lips. Not big on chips. Doing good limited the alcohol intake these days. So why am I having withdraws from carving out the sugars? Was I taking in more than I thought and now my body is protesting?! Four days into this and I just caught myself sucking on a honey packet that I used in my afternoon tea. At least it made me laugh.

Good luck swim suit shopping. It is certainly not one of my favorite past-times.

Target has a lot of cute mix-and-match swimsuits! I just purchased one there a few weeks ago and love it. Never thought I would say that... but it's been a few years since last purchased a suit (besides my TYR's).
OMG...I'm with you. I still have the same bikini that I've had since I purchased it in 1997. I HATE trying on swimsuits. The lighting in those dressing rooms suck! BTW-Funny pic!

To this very day I am still incredulous at how many body image issues woman have. If you only knew how little men cared. How you smile, and the twinkle in your eyes looking at a guy over your wine glass is so much more important.
Besides, chicks with muscles are hawt! Have a glass of wine, then go shopping. Bring a gf, have some fun with it. No need to stress.

I used to have swimsuits that lasted for many years but now I'd be lucky to find one that lasted one year with all the swimming I'm doing. Good luck finding one you like!
