I still run. Often times I get in 2 – 3 miles ( a few 5's) before a ride or alternating days that I do not ride. Surprising my pace had held to a decent clip but my body does not always play nice for the first mile.
Still I run.. and I remember why I love it so much.
Last week I arrived home and was to quickly change so my son and I could get a short run in before my ride. If it were not for Scott I would have dashed out of the front door like this…..
On the bike front:
Jumped in a different group on Tuesday with the Greenville Spinners. A ride leader stepped up and offered a bit longer route and since the pack was not too large I jumped right in. This was a fantastic route that offered a great mix with some good speed. I only had to get verbal once when I yelled at a guy and told him to “pick a line” out of fear that he was going to run my into the ditch. He said nothing.
New bike = new voice. :))

i had to take a second look at the pic! LOL Too funny. Amazing what a little confidence will do to the voice!! Awesome!
Funny. I have worn my shorts backwards before!
You are a true leader in fashion :-) I'll let you keep that line ;-)
Haha, I would totally do that!!
Good to hear you're still running. I never enjoy the first mile either.
New bike and new attitude! :)
LOL!!! I have put on so many things backward and inside out. ugh!
Too funny, I had to look twice though, nice bracelet! ;-)
LOL!Thomas would do that - he wears by acciden his t-shirts inside out!!!
Check Yo Self...love that song for a CrossFit workout.
Never mess with a woman and her new bike!
You are too funny!! I've only worn my shirt like that before, and no one said a word!!
Stay hydrated...send me Michelle's salsa recipe for my Taste and See Friday, PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love you!

**Austin is doing a 10 mile run at this very minute! Wonder where it comes from????
I teach an early morning Spinning class and I walked straight in there one day with my sweat pants on backwards. The good thing is that at 5:30 am, nobody cares. Nice bike/gear = right to correct rookies ;)
That is funny...I totally would have let my husband walk out like that!
That's the "day two" look for people who don't like doing laundry every day. Just turn it inside out and "wha-la"it's like having another pair of clean shorts!
HA! I've not done that before but my running shorts have the underwear in them so it'd probably feel weird to wear them inside out. Tank tops, however, oh yeah, about 30% of the time they're inside out and I don't often notice until I get back home.
And good for you saying something to that guy. Stakes are higher now with that new ride :-)
