KARMA

Just when you think all of your talk about riding and cycling drives people crazy around you something odd happens…. they begin to ride, short rides, then longer rides and all at once you are energized by their new found excitement. One of the individuals is a female and she has little means of purchasing some of the key important necessities like a HELMET. Just last week my dad surprised me with the purchase of a new helmet so I quickly went to my car, placed my old helmet on her head, and presto… good karma passed on. Amazing how good it makes you feel to even do something as small as that.

So I encourage any of you to let go of things that can benefit others around you. It does not have to be something expensive or big to make a difference.

This holiday weekends rides are shaping up nicely. Looks like we have a 55-75 mile Team ride on Saturday and then on Monday one of my teammates have mixed up a 90 mile ride with some pretty strong mountains just for fun.

Let the climbing begin.

I like the new blog look!

I'm all about the karma. What goes around, comes around. Isn't it great to see new friends getting involved in your sport?

Have some great rides this weekend!

can't wait to hear about your looooong rides!

i gave away a pair of aero bars to a girl who was trying to get a sub 30 on the weekly TT we go to sometimes. she PR'ed with them on the 1st try. those aero bars were given to me 2 summers ago for my 1st tri on a road bike, so it was time to pass them on.

Love the new look Robin! Have fun on the Monday ride...Mom is coming in to town so I won't be able to make it. I'll have to punish myself on Sunday morning instead!

I try to rehome as much of my gear as I can if someone else can use it.

Hey Robin! It's been a while since I got a chance to catch up on my reading.... You've been riding like CRAZY! I'm a tad jealous!

This post made me think about the three helmets I have downstairs and the two aero helmets sitting in my van. Somewhat excessive... I need to find some deserving folks!

Cheers!
