What do you get when you have 25 friends who travel to Chattanooga, TN to take part in the 3 States 3 Mountains Bike event?….. I will show you in pictures.
Paula, Jessica, and me at the start. All smiles before the hills :)
Can you say... BEAUTIFUL VIEWS?
Moving along...
Can not beleive that most of us arrived and were able to get this photo at a SAG stop
The weekend was perfect from start to finish. This cycling family we belong to is just absolutely amazing. It is never about the pace (although some hammered this ride) rather it is about celebrating new miles reached and the health to be able to do what we are doing. Some in our group finished their first Metric Century ride. So excited and proud of them.
Scott and I managed to ride this entire ride together. We loved it and worked perfectly together. It was so humid that we were all soaked within just the first few miles of the ride. We had traffic control throughout the entire ride. Can not even imagine the logistics of planning a race that covers 3 States. This event is worth returning to next year for sure.
So hard to return to the "real world" today when you have had a weekend of so much fun.
Sunday I had a scheduled 45 minute run that ended up becoming 30 minutes. Legs were heavy and tired but I figured 30 minutes it better than nothing.
Now onto a fresh week of fun.

Wha? You call that fun? That' about as insane as doing that 6 gap thingee... LOL... oh wait, I'm going to do that soon :-D
such adorable pictures!
Thats awesome. I had a friend who did that ride in training for IMKY. One of these years, I will do that 6 gap thingee Wes speaks of.
Awesome, your smile says it all!
Looking at the route online it looks like Lookout Mtn was a real leg-burner, even threw some super-steeps at you at the top. Fun route.
Last time I was in Chattanooga was Thanksgiving 1994, and it was pouring buckets. Beautiful country. The humidity can be suffocating, but you look like you had a blast. Thanks for the wallpaper Robin!
Great pictures, and the view! Wow! Sounds like such a fun time!

Love you!
Susan
