- New this week was putting my aero bars on my bike. Now even though all of my training has been on the trainer (this will not be forever) it is nice to just settle down in the bars and do the prescribed workout.
- I am already down 4 lbs. since I started this training. Not concerned because I had some extra that could be shed but will have to watch this if I lose 4 more lbs. I am eating more than I did before with tons more veggies. Really dialing in on the nutrition now with special attention to my recovery drinks/food following workouts.
- My energy is through the roof. I feel fantastic. Legs may talk a little trash some days but overall I love how I am feeling.
- I purchased a huge foam roller back about 2 months ago. This week I finally brought it in the house and put it to use. I would rather do an hour of yoga than use that foam roller for 15 minutes. Nothing fun about that thing.
Still I have said it before but what I think is truly making this experience so enjoyable is staying in the moment of that days workouts and nothing more. If I cut one short than I am only cheating myself (unless I have true solid reasons for doing so). I know my goals and it is only me that can make it happen.
