Nine months of training completed. I have LOVED all of it…. really. Training for an Ironman is a very lonely journey at times but during those times you have plenty of time to reflect on life itself. I am in a really good place in my life. My health, my relationship with my husband, my family, and my friends. What more could you ask for?
Much of these lesson have been given to me by my coach, Vince Matteo. His positive energy always leaves me feeling even more excited about where I am at and what I have accomplished every time we have our scheduled talks. He calls me out on where I am slacking and gets me back on focus when I need a push. THANK YOU VINCE!!!
On race day I have one major goal…that is to be in the moment. I will swim MY swim, ride MY ride, and run MY run. I have raced enough endurance events to know that anything can happen even when you have planned the perfect race.

A huge thank you to each person that has followed me along the way. Every single comment has only helped inspire me to keep reaching for this dream of becoming an Ironman.
Now it is Go Time……
