6 days to GO......

I am all over the board with emotions as expected leading up to my first Ironman this coming Sunday in Louisville, KY.  Have I even started packing?….NO!!  I promise to begin tonight.

I had quit the surprise by hubby when he had these cool shirts and cake made for a little gathering with the best support crew around yesterday.  I am more than blessed to have this group travel to the race and be there to cheer me on.  I am at a complete, total loss of words for what I am already feeling!

Tapering is working just as it should.  My swim/run was amazing on Saturday.  I actually forced myself to stay in bed until 8:30am.  After some coffee and lazing around some more I went and tackled my swim first.  Best lap times I have had in months!  For the run I opted to venture on some new roads.  Let’s just say that it was a welcomed change even though I did get lost. Ha!

Temps for race day at forecasted for 83 degrees.  FREAKING SWEET!!!  Of course I will be checking it a gazillion times before Sunday. ;)

Have a great Monday!

So jealous. Like... big time. I want to be done.

You have paid your dues, pooled up the sweat under your trainer, time for it to all pay off.

Execute your plan. That's it :) its THAT simple!!!
