Sweet Layla

Now before you all start saying how sweet our little Layla looks let me tell you that you managed to eat her new toy in a matter of 11 minutes. The squeaky drivers her nuts so she becomes deranged until at last her toy is a pile of white stuffing all over the living room floor.

I ran my scheduled 4 miles tonight at the gym at a 9:05 pace. I must admit I was nervous with each step but am thrilled to report that all went well and I was pain free. Lots of stretching and will ice tonight. My massage therapist believes that when I stopped to go potty that a muscle must have locked up. Who really knows.... I am just praying that it never returns again.

Tomorrow my husband will join me for a 5 miler down town through the park. How I love the park.. and my husband.

Happy Running,
Robin

Well, if you gave me a toy that aggravated the crap out of me, I would tear it to shreds too :-) And I spoke with God, and he said you're cool. LOL. No more knee pain ;-) Have a great run with hubby!!

Great news that the run went well. And for you to strain a muscle while going potty, um...nevermind. :)

I guess the same principals that apply to kids apply to pets. Look cute, but they're devils :P

YAY!!! I'm glad you're feeling good ;D Lets hope it doesn't return! Have fun with your run today!

My cat does the same thing, but he reacts more to bells than squeaky toys.

The thing with him is that he thinks those things are REAL, and he actually eats them. Thankfully .. he chews them up into tiny shreds so that it can pass through.

You may ask, well how would you know that it passes through? Because on more than one occassion, I scooped up some used litter that jingled.

Glad to hear your knee is doing well :)

Awwww, she does look sweet, but like Marcy said, I know that doesn't necessarily mean they are ;)

Layla is such a good dog; she ate all that fiber and never once redecorated the carpet, and she is really patient with Grace. Has she developed a palate for cats yet? Or are you still working on that one? ;-)

Good to hear the knee is functioning pain-free. What a troublesome joint that is for athletes. It seems to get affected by every other weakness in the legs so easily.

A big cheer to pain free running!!

I once had a German Shepard how's favorate toy was a dumbell...yes, a dumbell! It was the one thing he couldn't destroy.

Sorry, been out of the loop lately - crazy busy at work and our internet works sometimes.
