Pasta and 18 Miles


It is yet again the eve of another long running weekend. I did manage to run my 4 mile Tuesday, 6 mile Wednesday, and 5.5 mile on Thursday. The last 1/2 mile yesterday hurt but I am hopeful that my 18 miles tomorrow and 10 miles on Sunday will happen and I can get through it pain free.
I received my Tiger Tail roller in the mail yesterday and have been rollin away on both legs. Add stretching, ice, and ibuprofen and you will have everything that I think I could be doing to recover.
Wish me luck. We start in the morning EARLY to try and beat the heat of the day.

Mmmmm...that looks yummy! Good luck this weekend!! Sounds like you are doing all the right things! I need to roll out my legs before the 5k tomorrow.

Have a great long run, hope the Tiger Tail works... use that roller for a few minutes BEFORE u venture out in the am...
