Friday I joined CC for a run on some new trails we discovered close by. To save time after work I actually changed into my shorts in the carpool line. I must admit that even I thought it a bit funny while I was doing this but time is precious with the sun setting around 5:15pm these days. The path takes you through some slight rolling hills and bridges that carry you over some of the swamp land. It really was nice. This will be a good option during the week for the shorter runs to keep us off of the road.
So this next week I need to get my mileage plans in place for the upcoming 5ok. The true test will be in fitting in the weight training, cross training, and yoga that I so badly need. I can do this but my planning will have to be good. Can't leave out the nutrition... so much to remember.
UPDATE: Monday..... SICK....crap!! I feel rotten!!!! Should have ran yesterday. Rats......
