Just a few Calories

16 and on his way to becoming a Marine like his brother.

Our youngest is turning 16 years old today. Seriously… I cannot believe this. In our house the Birthday person makes the call on dinner so with that said I can guarantee I WILL NOT be eating this tonight.

Still, it is his birthday and we are going to make this for him. He even wrote out exactly how it is to be stacked and layered. Makes me sick on my stomach to think about it.

Now before the feast he has also requested that we run and then do the strength routine he has been doing with me each week. Guess his thinking is that he will burn some of the 4000 calories that will be consumed by this…. Whatever-you-want-to-call-it…. Meal. Oh...to be a teenager!

Wintry Mix headed our way this weekend. Becoming one with my trainer in the garage these days. COME ON SPRING! I NEED YOU!!

Wow, that is going to be some meal! However, I think it is awesome that he wants to workout with you first.

I am SO ready for spring. I even took the tri-bike to work today hoping to get an actual road ride in before the wintery "stuff" hits. I SO need a break from trainer hell riding.

No comment on the food other than OMG!! Did he really eat it all? :-)

That's some serious artery cement! :-O I can't believe the crap I ate when I was his age, and since I was bike racing back then, how MUCH of it!

That is a huge burger thing! I can just see the greese oozing.

Seems like you raised some good kids. Mine are 6 and 5... a long way to go before we workout together.
