One thing most may not know about me is that I LOVE a good cookbook. I can spend hours turning the pages and planning out new menus. For the most part these days Scott has been cooking dinner but I jump in a few of them as well. We both love to cook and I am glad that he loves to cook healthy as well. I LOVE baking muffins, breads, cakes…you name it.

So when I first came across this cookbook I knew it was a must have! I will save you the drama of how I got it (note: Amazon does not take Visa gift cards. STUPID if you ask me) but I have it and LOVE it.

If you are looking for Athlete focused foods rich in taste with just the right balance of calories, carbs, proteins, and fat than this is a must have. The book even makes notes of which recipes are best for Training and Recovery.

First up - Roasted Tomato, Shrimp and Linguine with fresh basil. Page 87

Part of my fatigue comes from not properly fueling before, during, and after a training session. So what does a girl do? Makes changes. Period. Enough said. I am doing it!

That looks awesome and would make a great gift too! I'm struggling with the lack of energy as well.

So, guess what, I'm buying the cookbook!!!

ISBN# ???

I will check it out at Amazon as I am looking for a few more 'go-to' recipes.

I've been eating more acid in my diet the last year or so. It helps with the absorption of calcium and iron. Iron, girls, iron. Hint, hint.

Lilly, you might give 300mg of Co-Q10 a try for 5-6 weeks. I took it for a yr and a half. It got my heart strong enough to start exercising again after a 'coronary event'.

Great book recommendation! I'm not good at the fueling before/during/after either. Have a great weekend!

Best. Cookbook. EVER. We have a couple hundred cookbooks in our collection and I use this one the most. Glad to know all FTC members now can endorse this book! :D
