It is a lot of work to pack your car up with all of the gear it takes for a ride, drive across town even though the sky is black, and then find that the scheduled ride is just not going to happen as lightening fills the sky. This happened on Monday. So I went home and had a healthy glass of wine and read some of my Runner’s World issue from this month.
Tuesday came and seemed to be a repeat of Monday. I was just not in the mood to repeat the same steps so I opted for a trainer ride in the garage. Frayed Laces was awesome enough to share a trainer workout of hers so I got busy getting set up. I knew I would need some serious motivation. This worked perfectly! Gotta love a Sharpie!
Let me just say HOLY MOTHER this girl has some serious kick-butt workouts. The weather did not turn out as bad as perdicted so I made a quick decision to get a quick few miles in. After telling Scott where I was heading I found this run to be just awesome. Now I have been known to add on extra miles and be gone far longer than originally planned. Scott is not a fan of this because he worries. This was one of those runs I could have just kept going and going. In the end I headed home, opened the door, and was greeted by the delicious smell of pasta and seafood. End of run.

PERFECT way to end the run!
amazing how that works isn't it...? Really is...
I know you haven't asked for them, but if we wanted to make donations, where would we do it? Post a link ma'am...
seek and ye shall find... :-)
good job extending the mileage albeit Scott worries (and that's a good thing).
I am stealing your sharpie idea when I ride the MS Bike Tour in two weeks, I'm riding for my friend Laura!
and double wow to come home to such satiating smells!!
Great that you are finding a way to meet your training goals, no matter what!
