Another solid week in the books! WEEK 8 and still holding at …100%.
Notable Workouts this past week –
· Every single Friday I have either a swim or run session. Now way-back-when to even think about doing a workout of any kind on the eve of a weekend seemed crazy. Strangely enough this has been easier to adapt to than I would have imagined. This past Friday I had a swim and was joined by 4 other men with what seemed to be the same goal in mind.
· On Saturday I procrastinated a bit before starting my long run. I am sure the heavy, cold mist had something to do with it. After finally heading out of the front door the run could have not gone better.
Prescribed run (following warm-up):
8 min (z4) 2 min (z3)
2 min (z4) 8 min (z3)
8 min (z4) 2 min (z3)
30 minutes of alternating drills (hill repeats, butt kicks, high knees)
In the end I LOVED it and like with most workouts the time flew by! Who know I would love kicking my own-self in the butt so much..lol.
· Sunday brought a Team ride with my girls. I absolutely love the team I belong to. We lead a group of cyclist through the countryside for a nice 30 mile route with plenty of rollers. What a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
Now onto week #9. What will be the adventure this week?

- I woke up today feeling like I was hit by a bus, this week happens to be a recovery week as well, there is something to be said about these plans and thjey know what they are doing
Sounds like a fantastic weekend of workouts!! Way to keep it rollin!
That's one of the things I liked about being coached. The workouts were almost always interesting. Now, I'm a little bit more mundane, but I'm getting there!
Do you have any Scottish in you because you are a MacHine!
