On the training front:
After our ride with the Spinners on Sunday I tackled my long run of the week on Monday following work. First mistake was not wearing my heart rate monitor and as a result my pace and effort was all over the place and far to fast for the distance. I felt tanked at the end.
Second mistake was thinking I could go out and hammer a 29 mile ride with Jackie Tuesday after work. DEAD LEGS! I could just not get them going. She basically dragged my butt along for the entire ride. Why do I stack my biggest workouts all together and continue to think that my endurance level right now can handle it? Not where I am at right now.... but where I am working towards being. THANKS Jackie for helping your girl get home :)

Dammit, I wants him!! :-)
Since you are taking the night off, tell Scott to give you a foot rub and a massage. Wes' orders :-D
THat looks yummy! Tell Scott I'm impressed! He can make a meal for us anytime!
Thanks for the Team Dirty Feet pic! That was a fun day! We need to do that again!
Hugs,
Susan
Ummm. that looks very delish!
Delicious!
I definitely notice how much better I feel when I'm eating right, but I have such a hard time getting into a routine with it. Thanks for the reminder. And visual. :)
Great job on the workouts!
Very nice presentation!! Go Scott. I have a cut off time for eating too. It helps me stay in check, otherwise I could eat cookies all night!
Yummy and a man that cooks! Lucky Girl.
I also stack heavy workouts together too. I'm feeling the affects from Sat, Sun, and Mon today. I slept and laid around all day instead of doing 12 in the cold rain. Bleck...
Dam, that looks good!! You are lucky he likes to cook (mine does NOT).
And I hear ya on stacking big workouts. Why do we find out too late ;-)
that food looks good. i always feel better when i eat healthy too.
Some days those legs just won't do it. It's a mystery to me!!! Then the best thing is to just rest and eat some healthy delicious food. I miss cooking together and for thomas - we did it in CA all the time; it's very spiritual!
